The Gables is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide accommodation for people who need personal care. We support adults of all ages, both under and over 65, who live with mental health conditions and who need a settled home with staff on hand day and night.
The support we offer
- personal care, given with dignity and privacy
- support with mental health and emotional wellbeing
- safe management of medication
- help to attend health appointments
- building everyday living skills such as cooking, laundry and budgeting
- support to take part in the local community and keep in touch with family
What we don’t provide
The Gables is not a nursing home. We don’t provide nursing care, but community nurses and mental health teams can visit people here.
Is The Gables the right place?
Before anyone moves in, we meet them, talk with the people who know them best and complete an assessment. This helps us all decide whether we can meet their needs well and whether they will feel at home with the people already living here.
Referrals and funding
We accept referrals from local authorities, the NHS and families. We accept local authority and NHS funding, and we can talk with people who pay for their own care. For current vacancies, please contact us on 01670 821586.
